Just in case you have future callers who do not understand the critical nature of our currency value, I would like to explain it in very simple terms. As our dollar drops so does our global buying power. Don't think of it as something that will only have a negative impact on tourist visiting other nations. Think of it as a buyer for a major retailer, i.e. Wal-Mart. One year ago a container of products manufactured in China cost, (example), $10,000. Now that same container of products from the same supplier in China cost $12,000 due to the devaluation of the US Dollar vs. China RMB. The same rule applies of goods and services purchased from Europe, Japan, etc.
So if you think the currency situation doesn't have a negative impact on your daily lives......think again. Prices of goods will go up because of this so once again we will all suffer.
