Listener Sandra sent this email asking me a very personal question about bacon. What would your answer be?

Dear Uncle Henry,

It is rare that I have extra bacon grease because I use it in my grits,  fry my toast in in and add it to most vegetables.   Last night I used it to brown my flour for homemade tomato gravy and biscuits which I served with bacon and fried eggs.  If I have bacon grease it doesnt stay out for long.   I would keep it on the counter for a week, but with summer aporaching if it wasnt going to be used in a couple of days I would store it in the refrigerator. You dont have to have a store bought special bacon grease container like my momma used to have....I just use a glass bowl....My question to you is...do you have a favorite brand of bacon.  There seems to be a wide variety  in the quality.      Can you please reply I would like to know.  Thanks for sharing.   Send answer by email in case I am at work and not listening to the radio.
