Uncle Henry,

We don't have cable, so we were going to miss seeing the game, but some
very good friends from our church heard of our plight and invited us to watch
the game in SILVERHILL so we didn't get home and in bed until midnight. 

I was going to get up at 5 and maintain diligence with you against 
liberalism and hippieness but I just finished spending 31 minutes trying to
get a crying 2 year old to go back to bed for the umpteenth
night in a row, so I am sleeping in until 5:50. Sorry.

That said, I think the championship game reminded notre dame fans less of
"Rudy" and more of the uncomfortable scenes from "Deliverance".

I had many calls from Copenhagen Denmark last night. Every time Alabama
scored the Danes were playing the Uncle Henry Drinking game.
